'xchange student This year on Stuco's shoulders has rested the responsibility of sponsoring and financing an American Field Serv- ice exchange student. Dieter Volpert came to Hutchinson from Heidelberg, Germany, as HHS's first exchange stu- dent. Dieter made his farewell address to the student body on May 6. The Student Council also set forth rules for a basketball queen. Before this could become a reality, the stu- dent body voted to amend the Consti- tution. With this accomplished, plans were underway for queen candidate nominations. Of course, there were always dances, elections, and parties to be taken care of the accomplishments achieved in 1 954-55 GOING OVER THE BOOKS are Stuco of- ficers, Treasurer, Jerry Jones, Vice-President, Mary Lou Briscoe, and Secretary, Rose Jones. .
