Son of a MeThodisT minisTer, DocTor Nicholson has spenT mosT of his life in Kan- sas. As a boy he did church ianiTor work and spenT his vacaTions working in salT mines. His col- lege days aT SouThwesTern and Emporia STaTe Teachers College found him pursuing a diploma, a girl and a posiTion. ATTer Two years of Teaching he weaThered dusT sTorms and a depression aT Colby. By This Time he had a -daughfer and wanTed a masTer's degree. Greeley, Colorado, offered This and a chance for some TrouT fishing. The lure of success caused DocTor Nicholson To load his Tamily, now Two daughfers, inTo a Model T Ford and iourney To New York. There he earned a docTor's degree aT Col- . umbia and a posiTion in upper New York sTaTe. The mosT recenT upheavallandecl The Nicholsons- lrish seTTer and all-in Huichinson. ln his posiTion here DocTor Nicholson has Taken a vivid inTeresT in everyThing and everybody.
