1444646441 Advice about the difficulties that may beset a student is free for the asking if he'1l see the assist- ant principal or one of the advisers. New assistant principal, Roscoe Coyne, joined the administrative group second semester. Mr. Coyne's duties consist of assisting with clerical work, acting as adviser for assemblies, and meet- ing with Student Council. Every teacher acts as an adviser to his stu- dents: however Miss Esther Cope and Mr. W. T. Cole serve as special counselors, who may be con- sulted by students wishing help with their problems. For boys wishing to find in what field their talents lie, aptitude tests are offered by Mr. Cole. Investi- gating absences-whether there's a real reason or only an excuse--is another responsibility of the ad- visers. ' 23 ,fa-rx I .1 I I X 4 1 .
