His Majesty, Iohn Baker, found that being a king can be fun, especially when a cere- monial kiss from the attractive yearbook editor was part of the homage paid him by his loyal subjects. Before his Coronation Baker served as youth center presi- dent, HClub treasurer, and was a member of Perrill Club, Hi-Y, Boys' State and boys' glee club. As a second year football letterman, he made the All-Ark Valley team in '45 and '46 and the All-State team in l46 .
