First and busiest man of affairs in the school this year was Bill Mitchell. Mitch was elected President of the Student Council by popular vote and as head of that organization attacked his duties with typical thoroughness. It takes quick thinking and master craftsmanship to fulfill that position adequately, and Bill certainly did it. Always ready for a laugh and a good time yet having his serious moments too, Bill, al- though popular with his fellow seniors, envied by fellow basketball players, and adored by many females, has remained modest and retir- ing.
