Jill Luginsland and Devon Clark named homecoming royalty Homecoming was an exciting event at HCC. The week's activities began October 15 with the 'freshman girls playing against the sophomore girls in powder puff football. The freshman won the game with a score of 12-0. On Friday, October 17, a pep assembly, featuring the HCC cheerleaders and the varsity band, was held in Lockman Hall so the students could have a final look at the candidates. E' The 1986 homecoming candidates were Kris Luding and Larry Tuxhorn, sponsored by the l Dormsg Donna Newman and Larry Wood, sponsored by the Office Education Association, Becky , M f .. . , ont ord and Todd Ojrle, sponsored by the Dragon Dolls, Tern Borders and Michael Howard, 'sponsored by the Home Ec Clubg Carmon Gitchell and Charles Huntington, sponsored by the 'cheerleaders, and Jill Luginsland and Devon Clark, sponsored by the Student Commission , Homecoming day, October 18, was parents day at HCC. In the morning the dorms had open house, followed by an all school picnic in the Student Union for students and their parents. The parents also had the opportunity to visit with the faculty members in their offices That evening, HCC played an exciting game of football against the Pratt Beavers winnin the , Q game 17-12. During the half-time of the game, Jill Luginsland and Devon Clark were crowned the 1986 homecomin u ' g q een and king. U Following the game, a dance in the Student Union concluded the homecoming festivities. 1. Susie Cochran gets a drink of punch which was served in thendorms on Parents' Day. 2i IIIKCC Jazz Band performs in the cafeteria on Parents' Day.
