People, Clas Buz-z-z! At that sound everyone should be in class. Classes at Hut- chinson Community College range from lectures to labs in areas from Home Economics and Art to Marriage and Family and Ag Production. HCC has a wide variety of classes to fit everyone's interests and oc- cupational needs. Students find that classes with action keep them more attentive, but classes that are basically lecture can also be intrigu- ing. These classes use speakers, movies, field trips, and other meth- ods of teaching to make classes more fascinating. Going from class to class can be hurried. Even if you have one class in the Navy Reserve, one in Lockman Hall, and the last one before lunch in the Science Building, there are many people and sights to see. Students take time out to sit on a bench and chat with a friend or meet for lunch in front of the Student Union. During the different seasons there are things to see like squirrels soaring from tree branch to tree branch and if you're not careful water from the rotating ,,.,L..- 5 We.. W ,, MN'-' ' ' X -un. One can always see J.D., the campus security person, patrolling the parking lot for any cars that shouldn't be there. The next time you are strolling to or from class, think about those classes and what you see in between them . . . but don't be late! l. Tim Graber constructs an ad in newspaper lab. 2. Jim Keele ex- presses his creativity through paint- ing. 3. ln A8tP lab Julie Monroe, Joleen Schumacker and Denise Faulke take part in a dissection lab. 4. Don Wells works the computer in computer basic class. 5. In her col- lege algebra course Suzie Dwyer seeks assistance from instructor Ann Smith. 6. June Hasker, Phil Schmitt and Tammy James chat in front of the Student Union. 7. Pam Trostle and Kathy Wooden take a break out- doors. 8. J. D. Flush can always be found in the parking lot in search of stickerless cars. 9. When warm weather comes our way, mainten- ance men keep the campus looking nice.
