A Vision Lies Ahead South Campus was added in l969 for those who wanted to continue their edu- cation in agriculture and related sub- jects. It consists of: the old Navy base converted into Cameron and Wagoner Hallg two ponds, a forest, a baseball fieldg and a pasture for cattle. Also on the grounds owned by the college are two homes and a greenhouse, with the Farm Agriculture Building added in 1975. The Cosmosphere will be a new addi- tion for the future. It will be located near the Planetarium and will be ranked second to the Smithsonian Insti- tute in Washington. Even though the appearance of the school has taken a gradual change over the past 50 years, there is some- thing that will never change. The goals and dreams will stay the same. These dreams are the continuance of quality education that is of worth to the student after he has graduated from high school. Continuing education is what the Junior College is really all about.
