The flooding also covered much of south-central Kansas. Hutchinson's rainfall for 1973 was 50.62 inches, 22 inches over the norm. Flooding inspired canoeing at 17th Street. Fred Litooy, Dr. Elland and Dean George Cooper reviewed bids for the addition. Mark Industries Offers Low Bid for Lockman Hall Construction On March 7, the HCIC Board of Trustees accepted Mark Industries' base bid of S322,170 for construction of the east wing of Lockman Hall.
