studentjobs Odd jobs Feature College Students In order to remain at HCIC, many students find it nec- essary to have jobs, ranging from gas jockeys to butchers to night club singers. A HCIC has its own job placement center, headed by Director Carl Skoch. By the end of the spring semester, the center placed 224 students in the 379 jobs available. The most common employment was waitressing and babysitting for women, and industry jobs for men. There were, however, students working at unusual places and doing unusual things.
