Ochterski The Student Council, which consists ot one representative from each homeroom, has striven to improve Tech in every way possible. The past year it put into action the Better Dress Cam- paign which was suggested to us by the Inter- High Student Council. www The Stage Crew is a small but efficient group of students whose main function is to assure the smooth operation of all assembly programs. lt consists actually of two crews - the booth crew and the stage crew. The booth crew is responsible for the perfect functioning of the public address system and for the presentation of all films. The stage crew keeps the stage up to par, not only in connection with its arrangement, but also in connection with its functionability for the various assembly programs. Cooperation between these two crews has made for highly efficient maneuvrability. Tech is fortunate to count among its many organi- zations one of the finest bands in the state. Com- posed of approximately sixty young men and conducted by Mr. Norman J. Vester this excellent musical aggregation performs at all assemblies as well as on many special occasions such as Class Day and Graduation. In the near future the Band will present its annual Spring Concert in which a tour is made of all city central and elementary schools.
