Math Club The aim of the Tech Math Club is to familiar- ize interested students with applications of math- ematics other than those covered in the classroom. Now in its sixth year of active functioning, the Tech Math Club is one ofthe most popular organi- zations in the school. Every Monday afternoon at 3 p.m. the Tech Math Club members receive advanced instructions from Mr. Buchman in the theory and use of the slide rule, the desk calcu- lator, and the electromagnetic digital computer. Also, at least once during the year a plant trip is held in order to provide us with an oppor- tunity to gain practical knowledge in the use of mathematics in industry. The members ofthe Math Club would like to thank our faculty advisor, Mr. Buchman, for the invaluable aid and instruction he has given us. MATH CLUB President .......
