The debate team is made up ofthe following students: Affirmative Team Negative Team Paul Hoebel Chester Palys Richard Killian Gary Kale Daniel Palazewslci Edward Nagel Frank Mariani James Miller The Debate Society is an organization primar- ily designed for inter-high competition. Each spring the 5 academic high schools and Tech de- bate for the coveted New York University Cup. This season the Tech Affirmative Team will compete with Grover Cleveland High and the Nega- tiveTeam with Kensington High. Both of ourteams have striven for a possible 3rd victory with the hope of obtaining permanent possession of the New York University Cup. Whatever the outcome of the contest, the expert guidance of Dr. Stein has made it possible for each ofthe debaters to gain invaluable experience for leadership in later life. Techll Tech Hams is an organization founded for the purpose of stimulating interest in amateur radio.
