Early in the school year work begins toward production of the yearbook. The layout of the Techtonian from idea to completion must be worked out before February. The art and production staff does the cover design, cartoons, and all page layouts, all of which is finished art ready for reproduction. In addition, they schedule the senior and roll call photographs, and handle the sports and special-events, which they photograph themselves. The staff, composed of senior Advertising Art students, conforms to a tight schedule, for the yearbook is extracurricular work, yet it must be done.
