We wish to commend our outstanding swimmers, who have worked so hard to rank Tech among the top swimming teams of Buffalo High School competition. Some of these water athletes deserv- ing particular recognition are as follows: Gerald Nicastro, Gerald Morrow, Iames Fry, Alien Whitcomb, Fred Greenwald, William Fulston and Thomas Ziegler. Wardour, Motvka. l.ast fall our own Tech High School was selected to play Riverside at Civic Stadium in the annual night game spon- sored by the PAL. The result was a re- sounding suecess lor Tech: we won by the score of I8 to I2 and were able to finish the season with two wins and four losses. However, our team performed extremely well, and it lost at least, two games by a very close margin. Fred Macholz made first string All-High Cuardg Ralph Apa, Curry Ball, Phil Sera- fini, Gordon lVleCarley, Paul Motyka. Allen Baun, Iohn Allen, lohn Berdysiak and Wayne Wardour performed valiant service for the school. The team wishes to express its deep appreciation to Mr, Haas for assembling the outstanding equipment placed at our disposal.
