The 'l'eclrnical lligh School Varsity Band has long been one ol the largest and nina outstanding service organizations ol the school, participating in graduation exercises, Christmas, lzaster, and all as- sembly programs and special events. A wide array ol' music is studied, rang- ing lroin the compositions ol Chopin, classical in nature, to those ol Ierome Kearn, which are ol' the modern variety. Among the projects which have brought honor and recognition to the band and Technical Iligh School are the lollovxing: a program ol marches and football songs performed at the classic PAL football game and a number of Rogers and Ham- merstein lavorites played lor a group ol outstanding Western New York business- men at the Mass Explorer Induction Serv- ice. This year the club started out with fourteen major letter winners, and at the completion of the football season four ol our members were honored by being placed on the all-high football squad.
