The annual contributions ol the club are these: a Tech pennant saleg the presentation ol a gilt to the schoolg motoreades to various football games: and the Teacher Appreciation Assembly in 63 which a trophy is awarded to thc teacher who has contributed the most to the stu- dent body. Tau lfpsilon Sigma, better known as the 'Fech lilectrical Society, was founded in N22 and has grown to be one of the most active organizations in the school. During the past year we visited many of the major industries on the Niagara Frontier. Our Tours took us to Westinghouse and West- ern lflectric. ln the near future we have planned a tour through the Lackawanna plant at Bethlehem Steel Plant. ln the spring, as part of an annual aflair, the Society will present its assembly program. Also, We held a skating party which was very successful. Our annual Christmas party was held at the home ol our advisor, Mr. Roesch. VVithout his el- forts and endless assistance. our organiza- tion could not function. All our senior members received gold pins in recognition ol their active participation. 'l'l1is year marks Tech Senior Hi-Y's lorly-eiglttll year ol service to our school, thus making it one ol' the oldest clubs in Tech and certainly one ol the oldest Hi-Y clubs in the city of Buffalo. Already, this year, we have had syvim- ming parties, Christmas and Halloyve'en parties. and several speakers and movies. This year we sent a delegate to thc state llifY assembly in Albany to promote a proposed bill lor raising the legal drink- ing age, Donald l,llQl1ZllZl. a member ol our organization. xvon the Y.lVl.C.A.'s llorten award lor yxork on his model bill. This is the second consecutive year, in which this award has been given to a member of our club. In May we plan to hold our annual dance at the Y.,, We also plan to devote our energies in pursuit of yvorthyvhile projects that will benefit others. All ol us in Tech Senior Hi-Y Wish to express our sincerest thanks to lVlr.
