The purpose of our organiza- tion is this: we want to acquaint our mem- bers with new processes which are now being utilized in the manufacture of chemi- calsg also we want to indicate the role that chemicals play in the manufacture of other products. To help us in attaining our ob- jectives, we schedule regular plant trips' and in addition the portions of chemical 78 theory not discussed in the classroom are studied at length at our meetings. Most of the demonstrations this year will be on a college level, because the Seniors will take College Board Examinations in May, which will give them first year college credit in Chemistry. We wish to thank our very able faculty advisor, Mr. William Block, for the dedi- cation of his time and guidance spent in the instruction of chemical studies beyond the scope of the regular curriculum.
