This ear has been a ear of achievement for the senior irls of 140. Under the racious and devoted .X . Y . . . g . . g . supervision of MISS Erb, the glrls have maintained a very high scholastic record, won athletic recog- nition, captured attendance awards, and in general have striven to cooperate fully and to respond heartily to all school campaigns. Senior meetings, assembly programs, ffuiet study periods, and vol- unteer work now form a kaleidoscope that will make reminiscences de ightful. Together with each happy memorv that will come back to us, the watchwords-worthiness, poise, and graciousness- which have characterized the s irit of 140 this ear, will also remain with us. P Y Studyroom 140 Vliss Harriet Erb To direct the senior class activities and social affairs, when the class numbers more than three hundred, is a task which requires re-vision, tact, enthusiasm, and wise judgment. Miss Erb has been senior class adviser for a num er of years, and out of her experience has come understanding. To be studyroom adviser and guidance councillor, when the registration of the studyroom numbers more than one hundred fifty, is a position which necessitates wise use of time, sympathy, and fair- ness. Miss Erb has been studyroom adviser in 140 for a number of years and out of her work with girls has come skill in bringing about a fine report. We have been well represented in athletic, scholastic, and extra-curricular activities. We are proud of the fact that we have bought more defense stamps than any other Hutch- inson studyroom, that we have the largest number of members in the Junior Red Cross, and that we have several times won the attendance banner for our division.
