5 Am an llelwwd Ln w-ifh Musa: Back How: Geraldine Falkenthal, Hildegarde Drachenberg, Dolores Key, Ardis Holz. Soloist: June Soldner. What was billed as a 'Spring Concertn could well have been a 'Winter Conoertn, if the weather was the standard of measurement - for it was cold and windy and snow was in the air. Despite this, attendance was exceptionally fine and our choraliers and bandsman made music ring to the satisfaction fwe hope? of the appreciative audience. The chorus opened the program with a group of three religious songs. June Soldner sang 'Bless This Housen by Brahe and nHold Thou My Handn by Briggs. In a lighter vein the chorus ended their part of the program with a med- ley 'An Easter Wardroben. Hrs. Orville Zuelsdorf, was accompianist for the chorus. Then the band took over for their part of the program. They played two groups of sprightly numbers and ended with the usual WStar Spangled Banner'. Both the band and chorus were directed by Harold Johnson.
