Under the leadership of Ex-president Robert Hart, President Arlen Neal, Faculty Ad- viser, Mr. Cohen, and with the help of Mr. Husson, Jr., Mu Sigma Chi had a very successful year. Thirty-five candidates were given the opportunity to become better acquainted with the active members of Mu Sigma Chi and to learn about the organization. During the last week in November the thirty-five candidates were initiated into the fraternity. On December 14, 1960 Mu Sigma had its annual Christmas Ball. The hall was attrac- tively decorated with evergreens and colored streamers-. A large, beautifully ornamented Christmas tree in the center of the hall reflected the spirit of Christmas. Early in January, the following officers were elected: President .....,....... , ..i...,,. . .........,..,.............,. . ,... . ......,.........,,,..,...,.. Louis Abbotoni, Waldoboro, Maine The ministrel show in April was a huge success once again. The members with the help of some outsiders worked very hard to make this show one of the outstanding events at Hus- son this year. Miss Bernice Ross was chosen Sweetheart this year. The year came to a close with plans being made for the annual fraternity trip to Quebec a reward to all the members who offered so much of their time to the year's activity. For Mr. Cohen it was his first year as faculty adviser to Mu Sigma Chi and he did an outstanding job. We hope he enjoyed- being with the fraternity as much as we enjoyed hav- ing him as our adviser. Last year, due to added responsibilities, Mr. Husson, Jr. had to give up being our adviser, but he is so attached to the fraternity that every chance he gets he attends the meetings. We certainly appreciate his interest in us. The following were members of the organization: Louis Abbotoni, John Abbott., Michael Abbott, Max Ballanger, Ralph Berg, Alan Brown, Andy Caswell, George Christakos, Joseph Costello, Fred Cross, Carl Cuiuiingham, George Currier, Leonard Day, Mel Duprey, Paul Dolson, Terry Duffy, Carl Dunn, Reul Dutton, William Emery, Charles Feck, Jim Fergason, Bill Goodwin, Keith Grant, Harrison Hahn, Richard Harnum, Robert Hart, Thornton Harvey, Robert Huntly, Richard Jordan, Gene Judkins, Charles Kent, Donald King, Cary Landry, Daniel LeClair, Leo Loiselle, George Maxsimic, Gary McEntee, Paul McMinamin, Robert Millington, Mike Mossler, Arlen Neal, Raymond Page, Maynard Pettee, Peter Predaris, Rich- ard Ray, Terry Robinson, Robert-Ronan, Howard Sanzone, Merton Stanhope, Gerald St. Jean, Rodney Stewart, Roger Tate, Edmund Thebarage, Mike Theriault, Don Vachon, George Vomvoris, Richard Wheeler, Julian White, Ben Welch, Robert Welch and Laurence Wilkins.
