Miss Hacker is in charge of the sewing department while Miss Calone may be found among pots and pans in the kitchen. Besides the regular classes, the girls at- tended the Farm Show at Harrisburg, sponsored a dance, sold Christmas cards, and presented a fashion parade to the rest of the students in order that they might exhibit their coats, suits, and modern dresses. Besides sewing, the girls learn to cook many tempting dishes to serve to their future husbands. Good luck, future homemakers. P., Tandarich, E., Palcic, K., Tarasky, A.

This club was organized two years ago by Mrs. XValker. a former teacher and at the present is under the direction of Mr. Taggart. The club has officers who preside over the monthly meetings. Some of the clubis work consists of go- ing back to the history of civilization, to find out the facts concerning the earlv literature of Greece and Rome. The customs of the Roman and Creek people are discussed during the club gatherings. A scientific study of myths flegendsj is also made. These activities aid the students in acquiring more knowledge of the Latin language. 50
