Seniors In September, 1948, two hundred and ten small, frightened freshmen entered the halls of Hurst. Upper classmen and faculty members teased and gave wrong directions to us but we took it with a smile. Before too long, school and vacation was over and we were starting our second year at the old Alma Mater. The event which we will remember during this year is our biology trip to Pittsburgh. VVhat a time We had when some of the gang, got lostlll During our Junior year, most of us were busy with the Junior Prom, Junior Play, and the various other activ- ities of high school life. In the fall of 1951, one hundred and forty-two of us again entered our great hall of learning. This time, how- ever, We were starting 011 our last lap. We have had good and bad experiences during our four years but now that it is over we wish to leave a thought to the under- classmen: If you acquire half of the knowledge put forth to you and half as many wonderful memories as we, the senior class, are taking with us, then you will have achieved something great in your four years of high school. 16 Class Oficers President: Walter Johnson Vice-President: XVilliam Hoover Treasurer: Marjorie Overly Secretary: Chauncey XVhite X f'-A .J-' 20, ' fv W,,'gur1,J 11 ,Y Q 1 .5 l ffifi WJ gr l l Lk 'fei:?.5,5 e.,-,,... f-?: N- .
