The alumni purchased an athletic field for the College and ll f-'i l'll nl . it px gf there all the football games of the past season were played. The alumni M l i is l went to considerable expense and Work to secure the field and put it in W3 shape. They put up bleachers and also a fence around the Held. V ' Alumni Field, covering two city blocks, is located just two blocks west of the P ' a . 5 1 present campus and is situated between Eighth and Ninth Streets and bordered by 1 Nlontana Avenue on the east. Plans have been made for a quarter mile cinder ax track in the near future so that all the Colleges outdoor athletics can be readily Min handled at the new Held. I :li 3 . . . . . ' . . Qi The interest that is belng shown by the alumni in Huron College athletics is very much appreciated by the student body. This should go a long way in helping develop stronger teams to represent our school. liar' s. . . . . - .A fly 5 'lhe new gymnasium was finished a short time ago. It is a marvelous piece of Work and adds much to the looks of our campus. It has one of the best basketball floors in the state and will be a fine place for our conference clashes next year.
