.-. .-.- I , OUR TASK IS DONE ETER a year of hard work the end is in sight and the hungry presses teasingly wait to print this last bit of copy of the 1926 Rubaiyat. A In dedicating this volume to Dr. H. P. Carson, we feel that we could TT TT have found no other person more fitting to bestow this mark of appreci- ation upon because as' one of the original founders of this institution and the only founder who is still living, we wish to emphasize the great service that he has rendered. Before closing this book we wish to express our appreciation to those who have been instrumental in the building of the 1926 Rubaiyat. Space does not permit the personal acknowledgements that are due. Our advertisers deserve a word of appreciation for aiding us so liberally and we strongly urge every student to patronize those who have so generously support- ed us. The majority of the photographs throughout the book were taken at the Olin Studio and the high quality of the pictures herein is due to the excellent work and cooperation extended by that Studio. We are also especially indebted to Miss Louise French for many of the views of the campus. The Bureau of Engraving and the 'VVill A. Beach Printing Company have aided us greatly by their cooperation and willingness to assist in every possible way. H Reluctantly then, we close the task. The experience has indeed been an inter- esting one. We feel that we have been more than recompensed by the experience we have gained and the friendships we have made. And if there is any credit due for the success of the book, that credit is due to each individual person that has helped in any way in the building of this, the 1926 Rubaiyat. The end of the task is here. With a feeling of regret we hnish our work and turn the reins over to the staff of next yearls volume. To them we wish the best of luck. We hope they will profit by our many mistakes, and th-at in the 1927 Rubaiyat they will be able to demonstrate in a more picturesque way what we have attempted in this volume.
