INV H Woman's Athletic Association is now an established organization in ' fix-l . , . . . ' . . Huron College. Since its affiliation Wltlnl the Athletlc Conference of i American College Women it has grown to be one of the most import- I, f 1 'fmekgsr fl! . -. . - ant organizations in the College. The purpose of the association is to promote clean sportsmanship, honesty, and class loyalty, to unify the athletic efforts of the women, and to formulate a policy for the control of inter-class competition. The governing board of the association consists of a president, vice president, sec- , retary, treasurer, a representative of the physical education department, and head of each of the major sports. Any undergraduate Woman of Huron College is eligible for membership when she has made a class team in at least one major sport. A silver loving cup is given to the class winning the most class tournaments each year. THE SPORTS Hockey was started in Huron for the first time last fall. Although it was a new sport there was a splendid representation and the Sophomores had a hard time secur- ing the extra po-int with which to Win the tournament.
