But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully. . . . Timothy 128. MR. LANG uses it lawfully for he is A Judge, An Eminent Lawyer, An Honored Administrator, A Noted Educator, A Profound Scholar, A Noble Citizen, A Friend . . . who has served his nation, his state, his city with that same sacrificial devotion and exemplary zeal which have characterized his loyalty and service to Huron High School for the past three decades. He is strong, yet gentle, self-respecting, yet not conceited, candid, yet courteousg loves freedom, yet respects law. We appreciate his service for the cause of public education. His contributions as Superintendent of the Huron City Schools have been many and varied and need not be enumerated in detail here. His admin- istration encompassed the years of the depression and of World War II when succeeding crises threatened the schools of the nation, state, and city. These crgises were met in stride and solved completely or alleviated as much as conditions would permit. He has every right to feel that he has fought the good fight for the cause of public education
