G Club: Thrm: Selma; F0 m1 Class Poem of 1943 VICTORY As we pondered our books, we wished we could quit, This studying didn't seem fair; But now that ills over we could easily sit Again in an unpadded chair, Our history books, those cozy nooks, Counting squares in the studylhall; We sometimes would whiz through a physics quiz, Then wait for our next teachers call. We always saw the Tigers play, We'll always remember the dances; But we realize now iVs another day And we'll have to take Life's chances We're going from school, out into life, A life that's full of hope and cheer; Of course well all run into strife, And well often shed a tear. Our class this year has done its best, But still there's work ahead; Amid this war we cannot rest, We must avenge the dead. were the second class that has seen this war, And this world we are going to impress, But the war's not all were fighting for, Our class all wants success. So, guodbye 01, school, we'll miss you so, This senior class of forty-three; We came together, and now we'll go; We'll all march to Victory, eJack Eller. 1 Class History of 1943 Huron High School Sector, September 1, 1940 tDelayed by censorJ Today 229 troops bivouacked at the Senior High School.
