HURON TIGER Senior Class HistorW On September 15th in the year of 19m, an event at such great importance took place. an event which so affected hise Lory, that it must be recorded on these pages. At that time the class at '23 entered the awe-inspirmg portals of this great institution. After eight ltng years we had at last at tained the dignity Of Freshmen in Huron High School, al- though we must admit We were not allowed to feel that dib- nity long. This reeling of antagonism was rather added to than diminished when they further humilie aterl us by sweeping down upon us and carrying off our eats, while we were inhueehuy enjoying a class party. These starved superiors were, however, made to feel a little less superior by a sharp reprimand mm the facuity, and never molested us ngLli . As soon as our class Was organized we ehcse Fred Rich- artls president, Rose Weir vice president. In athletics many of unr boys took prominent parts, one 0' them, Claire Groves, being captain of both the Ecotball and basketball teams. 21an ill! at them making a creditable record. The next great event in our Junior year Was the Presen- tation of that must papillar cnmcdy, t'Clarencu. which firm- ly convinced us that the legitimate Stage would be decided- ly the gainer it some members of the cast further developed their histrionic ability. And we must net forget to mention the uperetta, Miss Cherry Blossom, which proved to be ' other' triumph for certain of our classmates who had leading parts. Indeed the title role was entrusted to Florence Feenan, a Junior.
