We see that he ISD a player but xs coach at Huron and 15 just gxvmg the boys practmce at catchlng hxgh flxes We are now over F1fth Avenue and through our bmoculars we see that a fashxon show IS m progress The g1rl who 15 now on stage looks fam1l1ar Of course xt 15 Bonme Schwartz who IS now a model In the audlence we fxnd Don Fenton decked out nn h1s Captaxn s umform Now why would Don be at a woman s fash1on show? Could xt be that Dorxs hzs w1fe lxkes new clothes? Decxdxng to stay awhxle ln New York we land our space shxp and go to the Waldorf Astona Wh1le waxtmg for cocktaxls m our su1te we turn on the TV set Who appears but an alurnm from the 1952 class of Huron Henry Otto the 1l1ustr1ous successor of the great Bob Hope Stall recovermg from the shock of seemg Henry we recexve another when our cocktaxls arrlve The waxtress 15 none other than Eleanor Gerst She tells us that she xs now head waxtress at the hotel After a good nxght s rest we agam board our sh1p and head for Los Angeles but engme trouble forces us to land on a large ranch an Texas Chmbmg dlsgustedly from our shlp we see a cowboy rxdxng toward us Upon mquzrmg as to our whereabouts we are mformed that th1s IS the J and W Ranch Well gxven d1rect1ons lead us to the ranch house where we see a character under the shade tree Upon 1nvest1gat1on we fmd another 1952 Huron alurnnl plucklng on has old gultar We asked h1m what the I and W stood for and h1s drawled reply was Well I reckon lt IS for Jerry and Wood what else? After a long vxsxt Jerry took us 1n h1s Cad1llac con vertxble to Dallas to get a mechamc Vlhmle walkxng through the hangers we burnped mto a grease monkey all covered wxth grease and oxl After we apolog1zed we faxntly recognxzed h1m as Paul Exsenmann Upon telhng hxm our troubles he kmdly offered to fxx our space shxp H1s exammatxon showed the machme to be beyond repaxr For a nommal remlttance we gave the shxp to Paul so that he could utxhze the useable parts Wlth the money we purchased a Cadxllac convertxble and contmued on our Journey to Los Angeles We stopped at a hotel and made our reservatxon for the mght Durmg our spare txme we went to the RKO studxo to watch them make a motron plcture The star of the scene was Tony Curtxs Although the bxlhng gxves the name Jo Jo Jones for the co star we begm to probe for further mformatmon as the face looks vaguely famxlxar We are rewarded by the dxscovery that her real name IS Joan Wxegand now famous under her stage name Jo Jo Jones She mvxtes us to the Brown Derby for dmner but It IS gettmg late and we must contmue our Journey Before we leave however we want to w1sh all you Semors the best of luck and a great success o . . . , , 1 1 1 . .
