Semor Personalltles ELEANOR GERST Eleanor Marie was born April Z7 1934 to Henry and Eva Gerst J at their home north of Oakville She has a couple of nicknames Ellie wh1ch she 15 called at school and Kid wh1ch she is called at Paul s Cafe where she worked last surnmer If you see a g1rl who IS 5 2 tall with brown halr and brown eyes and who weighs too much so she says when asked her we1ght It may be Eleanor because that IS her description On the nights Eleanor stays home she may spend part of the even1ng l1sten1ng to the rad1o You wxll probably hear April Showers her favorite song sung by Tony Mart1n her favorite singer or played by Les Brown her favorite band Her eye for color is lavendar therefore her favorite flower IS a lavendar aster She may be seen going to a show wh1ch w1l1 probably be Show Boat w1th Howard Keel and Ann Blyth her favorites play1ng leading roles After the show she l1kes to go to Paul s and have a T Bone steak As for her favorite subjects she chooses commer e and h1story Eleanor s favorite sport IS basketball She also hkes to watch baseball games When asked about her pet peeve she saxd It was people who don t show consmdera t1on and respect for the wishes oi others Her 1dea1 boy doesn t necessarily have to be tall dark and handsome she sa1d but he must have good manners a pleasing personality and respect the w1shes of others He should also have a good sense of humor and an average I Q Well boys 15 that asking too much? or nurse s tr a1n1ng RONALD HADLER Ronald was born March 13 1934 and bless him if he wasn t born in the hospital Just to make his name shorter everyone calls him Ron and it looks as 1f lt will be h1s nickname but that still isn t what people should call him His hobby seems to run along the sport s line He is always able to show his ability easily for when you see him on the basketball floor It IS not too dxfficult to find out Just how good he really 15 Then when you see him in action on the mound for the Hl11'0n Indians if you should happen to be off balance he could knock you over with the wind of one of his fast balls In asking Ron his favorite flower he gave me the quxck reply dandel1ons very pretty, Ron has brown hair brown eyes WC1ghS about 156 pounds he1ght about 5 11 h1s a very easy boy to get along with very qulet and would never say a word out of the way H15 favorxte movie stars are Joan Caufleld and James Stewart Ron also loves to dance to the music of Ray Anthony wh1ch happens to be h1s favorite band Ron s type of girl about 5 5 tall weight ll0 pounds intelligent and must be mterested in sports so that she can keep him company while he is s1tt1ng at the Yankee Stad1urn Waltlhg to pitch After Ron graduates from school this sprmg he IS planning to go to college and he hopes to study economics Th1s 15 what he 15 hoping to be able to make h1s l1v1ng at and in knowmg Ron l think he will come out high on the 11st . Scmor Pcrsonalltlcs JOAN VN IEGAND On August 10 1934 a little baby girl was born to Mr and Mrs Joe Wiegand in Quincy Illinois They named her Joan Ruth Now she is 5 feet 5 inches tall weighs 116 pounds has brown eyes and light brown hair Joan spends most of her school time typing which IS her favorite subject this year It seems there is a popular song on the radio now which means a lot to Joan That is Shrimp Boats She says the Pilgrims came to the United States on the Mayflower and the Migets came later by Shrimp Boats W here else would they have come from? Joan received her nickname Jo from the students at Huron When it comes to eating Jo likes T Bone steak and strawberry sholtcake Her hobby is playing the piano She plays for chorus and sextet this year Of course everyone has a pet peeve especially Joan Her pet peeve is someone who pmches her Her ideal boy xs about 6 feet tall dark halr blue eyes well built a good personah ty and must like music Joan plans to go to Burlington Junior College after graduation and become a typist so she can enter 1nto secretarial work JERRY WOOD Keith Jerry Wood better known as Jerry was born in Burlington Iowa December Z1 1934 1-hs parents are Mr and Mrs Grover Wood Jerry s greatest ambition is to become a rancher on a big ranch some place out his favorite type of girl must be 5 5 tall weigh 110 pounds have dark hair like sports and be able to ride a horse A general d1scr1pt1on of Jerry IS as follows He has brown hair gray eyes weight 151 pounds ano is 6 1 tall His cho1ce in the line of food 15 partly respons1b1e for his physical physique lV'ashed potatoes with wild duck and dressing is one of his favorites However he can down a half dozen hamburgers wlthout batting an eye and at the same time be poking nxckles 1nto a Juke box playmg The World is Waiting for The Sunrise by Les Paul and Mary Ford VM oody is a nickname that has been tacked on him during his stay at Huron Jerry s favorite sports are basketball and football while his favorite color is red which happens to be one of the school colors Orchid is his favor-1te flower and he says he wants orchids at his wedding Business arithxnetxc rates first as Jerry s best liked subject His pet peeve is being blamed for things he didn t do O 0 O J J in Wyoming.
