While in South Bend we saw Fred Ditton who informed us that he was now the head bookkeeper at the city dog pound. Before coming Indianapolis where They ahd gone into they had their own back to the old home town, we drove to we saw Richard McHenry and Paul Shull. the collecting business in a big way, as truck and office. The only drawback, they weren't making very much money. This situation couldn't have been caused by the could it? Richard fact that they were collecting garbage, and Paul told us that Donna Keplinger has finally gotten into show business. Most anytime you attend the nFox Theatern you will see her right out in front. KDon't get the wrong idea, she sells the tickets.D Coming into Huntington we saw Carolene Robbins dragging a little boy up the steps of the Huntington Township School. She told us she was now the truant officer for Huntington County. We met Burdell Hildebrand and he said that he had started training to become would be very dead told us that Devoe spot. CDoc'sJ an undertaker. He said that the business when he finally got his training. Burdell Cobbs was playing at a very popular night While in Huntington we heard that Dick Benson and John Gibson had gone into the banking business. They work nights after everyone else has gone home. Now we know where they got all of those ten dollar bills. We talked to Frank Garrison and he told us that he had gotten a promotion at Caswell Runyan last week. He is now running errands for his foreman. Frank, told us that Waneta Frantz has a very tacky job, removing tacks from the soles of shoes in a shoe repair shop. He also told us that max Thrasher was washing bottles for the Coca Cola Company in Fort Wayne. We also learned from Frank that Don Vickery was working his way through college by shining apples. We wonder who he shines them for? After finally getting our business taken care of in Huntington, we were looking forward to a much needed rest in the Rocky Mountains. As we were leaving the Rest Easy Hotel we were greeted by a messenger who had a telegram for us. It informed us that we had taken too much time visiting instead of working and we would have to attend a special school in Albany, New York for employees of The Fullest Brush Company who waste time. We really didn't mind too much as it was interesting to find the whereabouts of the former Huntington Township Seniors of '55. Written by: Rhea Sands Rita Barnes Delight Rader Shirley Callahan
