Chosen as fhe name and color for fhe Summer Class of I958 were Olympians and aqua. Members of fhis exfremely acfive class now have four fabulous years behind fhem, years fhey will long remember. The firsf of fhese years began in Sepfember of I954. Af fhe annual Howdy Dance, Bruce Beckman and Nan- cy Jackson reigned as King and Queen. Bill Parroff led fhe class as freshman presidenf marking fhe beginning of fhe many acfivifies in which fhe fufure Olympians were fo parficipafe. Ed Frey led fhe second freshman se- mesfer as class presidenf, and again fook fhe lead as sophomore presidenf. During fhe second semesfer of fhe sophomore year, Lynn Livingsfon fook over as presidenf. Bob Procfor be- came Commissioner of Publicify and Mary Jo Bradley was elecfed Girls' League Treasurer. Many girls also held offices in G.A.A. and various campus clubs. As iuniors, George Mclnerny was elecfed presidenf of fhe class. Darlene Biffer served as Commissioner of Publicify, Carolyn Payne was selecfed as Girls' League Parliamenfarian, and Mary Jo Bradley became Girls' League Secrefary.
