Commencement Speakers The winter graduating class chose as their graduation theme, Builders of ,'XlllCl'iCZ1.u Speakers who presented this theme at the exercises were, George Haehten, who spoke on The Economic Structure of Ainericaf' and Beth Mackie, who presented The Cultural Side of American Growthf, Both discussions were very interesting and appropriate, and brought high school life to a fitting close for the graduates. Class Oi Winter '40 Reynold Lindroth, president of the winter graduating class, ofiiciatcd at a thrill- ing close for graduating seniors as the Senior Breakfast, Senior Farewell, Com- mencement Exercises and all other activities of a graduation class were carried out. :Xt the commencement exercises, Reynold presented the student body with a gift from this class, money for a radio for the new social hall.
