Senior Play Are teachers human? This was the question which the Senior Class of ,58 answered on November 19 and 20, 1957, when they presented the three act comedy, ARE TEACHERS HUMAN1 hy james Reach. The play took place at Central High School in an average American town. As the story opened, complica- tions hetween Mr. Fowler, the new young principal, and Miss Meadows, the pretty, young English teacher, he- gan immediately. The hilarious situations which follow- ed kept the audience laughing continually. Despite shaking knees and perspiring palms, the cast presented the play in a very professional manner. XVe were very proud of them. XVe were also very grate- ful to Mr. Leslie XVilhern, Mr. Dale XVare, and Mr. B. P. McKay for their invaluable assistance and patience while coaching the play. XVe, the Class of 1958, will always remember ARE TEACHERS HUMAN? as a stupendous productionl

MISS JOYCE WILLIAMS MISS MODULUS l Modulus Queen The girl who won the honor of heing the queen of the 1958 Modulus Revue was Joyce Williams. Joyce competed With Arlene liickert, Ruth Glass, and Sandra Stetzel for the coveted recognition. The right to wear her crown Was gained when she sold 759 tickets to the show. Joyce is a junior at H. H. S. and lives with her parents, brothers, and sisters at 541 Franklin Street. An energetic girl of many interests, Joyce particularly enjoys cooking and dancing. A typical evening finds her helping her mother with dinner and then the dishes, Watching TV, baby-sitting, or going to the Swing Inn. In warmer Weather she enjoys swimming and other outdoor activities. She is also an officer in the G. A. A. Joyce attends the First Methodist Church Where she may be found almost every Sunday. The entire school was proud to have this Wonderful girl as its queen. Congratula- tions, Joyce!
