The door opened and out stepped Gloria Madison, wife of the Chief. Gloria in her spare time, is Dale's personal secretary. Lena is head nurse on the staff at New Noble Hospital. She also heads Huntington Health Society. Bob asked Dale if she still enjoyed hunting. She replied that when she was not occupied with Funeral Direction, she enjoyed her hobb of catchin 'ld ' 1 . W dress for dinner. y g wi anima s e then adjourned to At the banquet, Dale announced that Janet, Kay and she were donating an urgently needed hospital to the citizens of Huntington. Bob consented to be Head Surgeon and Lena would act as head nurse at the new hospital. We all enjoyed a delicious meal and later danced to the wonderful music of Lawrence Welk. When Mr. Welk learned that Bob and Lena were among the guests, he insisted they play solos with his band. He had heard of their ability in instrumental music and had tried to sign them with his band while they were still students at H.H.D. We thoroughly enjoyed this reunion. It was over all too soon an d we had to leave the next morning to return to our establishments. Class Prophecy June 25, 1967 Dear Mrs. Niskanen The date is June Z5, 1967, and I am sitting at my desk in Judy's Nursery School located in San Antonio, Texas. I have just returned from our ten year class reunion held at the spacious home of Miss Dale Gamache in Huntington. Let me tell you about the reunion. En Route from San Antonio to New York, by Trans-World Airlines, I happened to meet Diane Bingham, her husband and her four children. Their home is Phoenix, Arizona, where Diane's husband is manager of the Strathmore Paper Company's branch office- Diane modestly told me she had benn voted Mother of the Year. Upon arrival at New York, we anxiously awaited the arrival of Fred Richardson, who was flying in from Ashland, Wisconsin. Fred owns an eight hundred and seventy two acre dairy farm. As a hobby, he owns and operates Richardson's Meat Packing Co. Our conversation with Fred was pleasantly interrupted by the arrival of a very chic Janet Jasper, who is now proprietor of Janet's Beauty Salon, in Bradenton, Florida. Janet's salon is in a fabulous resort hotel, owned by her husband. Her traveling companion was Barbara Conklin, who is private secretary to the president of the Atomic Electric Co., at Clarksburg, West Virginia. By the way, the president of this company is Barbara's husband. Our group boarded an eight jet Fairman Transport fJanet's inventionl, and flew to Huntington Municipal Airport. On arriving, we were amazed to discover that Huntington had become a large municipality. Ever since Kay Chapman discovered uranium, while excavating for her new Chapman Spit-Fire Sports Car Co., in Montgomery, Huntington has been a bustling city. Montgomery is now a large suburb of Huntington. Before leaving the airport, we were greeted by Janet Fairman, who is the sole owner of the Fairman Transport Co. Janet was pleased to take us to meet two of our classmates, who had found success in life. Marie Nelson, now married, was found hard at work at Marie's Exclusive Hair Salon, in the Municipal Airport Building. Janet then took us to her office, where we met Sandra Smith, Janet's private secretary. Sandy has never lost her love for horses. In her spare time, she and her husband fly to Hollywood where she trains horses for the M.G.M Motion Picture Co. Janet called for several of her limousines and we left for Dale's home. There we were greeted by Lena Barr, Robert Barr, and hostess Dale Gamache. Bobby, who has received his M.B., M.D., Ph. D., and who is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, informed us that he was now ready to establish his own practice. Bob asked about my success in teaching. I was happy to tell him that my husband and I own and teach in our nursery school. He was pleased to hear that I also own the largest children's department store in San Antonio.
