if f but ' E Class History It is June 1957, and we are looking back over our past four years at Huntington High School. On our first day in High School, there were nineteen excited students entering the maze of a new school experience. We were assisted by Mr. Elsner in our elec- tion of officers. They were as follows: President - Janet Fairmani Vice-President Sandra Smith: Secretary-Mary Landryg Treasurer - Judy Weeks? Student Council Dale Gamache. Our financial ventures included hayrides, food sales and a number of dances. We found this year to be a social and a financial success. We then were promoted to our sopho- more year with Miss St. Amand tMrs. Sarafinl as class advisor. We again found time to elect officfers for the year. In this year Bob Barr was elected President, Lena Barr, Vice-President: Mary Lal'1d1'Y, secretary: Sandy Smith as Treasurer, and Carol Caputo was elected to the Student Council. This year saw the biggest social event of our past years, our Sophomore Hop, which was called Winter Wonderland , and was the first semi-formal event of the year. Our class play was one of the most enjoyable activities of the year. By the time we reached our junior year, our class had dwindled to a mere sixteen students- This year was not only a new experience for us, but was also a new experience to our class advisor, Mr. McMahon, who was just starting into the A. Lena Barr, B. Dale Gamache, C. Sandra Smith, D. Robert Barr, E. Barbara Conklin, F. Judith Weeks.
