clan prophecy Suppose that you come with us for a ride on our magic carpet to visit the former members of the Class of 4-92 Ten years have elapsed and it is now l959f Our first stop will be Worthington where we find Shirley Pomeroy very happily married. Shirley and her husband have made Worthington famous by introducing a new breed of goats. Here's luck Shirley: And best wishes for your happiness. Hop on and hang on for we must hurry. We still have a long way to go. Our next stop will be Russell where we find janey Crowley acting as the proprietor of the former Rogers' Corner Store. They say she is doing very well not only with her store but with her collection of diamonds. janey always did have quite a few hearts tied in knots. We must leave jane now and be on our way. All aboard everyone: Huntington is our next stop. As we fly low over it, a big neon sign catches our eye. It is introducing the La Brecque Hardware Store. We find Jacky as the bookkeeper. We wish you luck Jacky in keeping your accounts straight, With a swoosh: Our magic carpet is again on its way. Where to ? To Michigan to visit john Eddy. He has arranged a famous Dance Orchestra known all over the world. His orchestra goes by the name of Swing and Sway the Eddy Way. john is still a bachelor. He says that his love for music is better than his love for women. Wishing him lots of happiness our magic carpet is again on its way. Our next stop is New York where we find Doris Knowlton. She has taken her place amongst the great stars. She plays the part of the unforgettable Baby Snooks. She also has New York wide-eyed, for in her spare time she models for television. You are a lucky girl Dorisff Now as we are off again, leaving the bright lights of New York, we come to a very desolate spot to find Bob Braman, our former Class President. He is living in Vermont and trying desperately to keep in stride with Paul Bunyon. Bob owns several saw mills in different parts of the country. By the way, Bob married a former high school student. Remember Carol Vanceff Leaving in a cloud of dust, we are on our way to Chicago to find Beatrice jones. She is a well-known author and has written many books. Her next book is The Ideal Policeman. And although it is not completed they say it will be a super seller. Well, all set, let us get along to the last member of the Class of 4-9. We are head- ing like a bullet toward Dalton, Massachusetts, where we find Nell Northwood acting as Superintendent of the Chi1dren's playground. Nell keeps a watchful eye on all pre-school children whose parents are at work. Nell also has two children of her own who demand a good deal of watching, for they seem to have inherited some of Ne1l's rnischievousness. Nell has done much to improve recreation for children. 'Keep it up Nell, you are doing a fine job. The magic carpet is swooping downward and so ends our visit with the Class of 4-9, Robert Braman Nell Northwood 36
