PROFESSICNAL CUMPETE CE I Professional competence in guidance is daily demonstrated by this board, the superin- tendent, and the faculty members of our school, especially our revered principal, Miss Mae Newman. MISS NEWMAN has devoted thirty-three years of service to Huntington High, first as a teacher, then as a dean, and now as principal. She is the guiding light for the students of our school. In addition to her work as principal of a school of approximately 1250, she devotes many extra hours counseling the students. Through her sincere endeavors, we gain knowledge and under- standing for the future.

MISS BOYCE YARBROUGH The Dean of Girls furnishes sympathy and understanding for the female students at anytime they may seek her advice and spends many outside hours working with young people. OUR COUNSELORS MR. O. C. CREENLEE As Dean of Boys, his opinion and guidance IS sought by the male students of our school. Every boy. at one time or another, has looked to Mr. Greenlee for an answer to his problem. He has always tried to do the best thing for the student.
