Dating plays a big part in every high school and Huntington is no exception. Couples at Huntington seem to be forming daily. Some couples have been a familiar sight around campus for more than a year, others, however, just seem to date around. On the weekends, guys and gals go to movies, parties, or just hang around McDonald's. Lamar Goree, a junior, says, Spend a lot of time becoming friends, and impress their parents. Laura Wiggins, a sophomore, says, Compromising is the key to a lasting relationship. Close To The Heart Dating is not all fun and games, however, there is some learning involved. Now is the time when manners, social etiquette and feelings toward the opposite sex evolve. Bump Ride Expected Ah, the memorable experiences that Dri- ver's Education leaves us with. Thirty hours in the classroom left the students with writ- ers cramp, and hours behind the wheel left the instructors with a case of shot nerves. Many underclassmen spent their Satur- days and free time taking Driver's Ed., so that one day, they too can drive. Coach Windham states, My most memorable ex- perience was with a Senior that I thought could drive. As she pushed the accelerator, fr -at ,kv . A .. Many of the students said that the worst part of the class was watching the films. They were really gross! exclaimed Sa- brina Malmay whentasked her opinion.
