Joe Etter led the Rams with ten points. A week later the Ramblers made it two straight wins, rolling over the Pleasant Mills team 36 to 23 in a one sided battle at the Community Gym. Again it was htter with fourteen points. A turn of luck and the Rams suffered their fistt defeat of the season at the hands of Huntington Township 22 to l9. Joe Etter paced the Irish with ten points. Came another game for the win column. Huntington Catholic turned away a last quarter rally to defeat Coesse 28 to 26 at the Coesse Goalary. Rex Wall led the Irish with ten points. The Rams had to face five defeats in a row, started off by a strong team from Pierceton with'a 38 to 23 defeat at the Community Gym. Joe Etter again paced the Rams wlth nine markers. The Ramblers traveled to Concordia to meet the Cadets but lost a fairly close game 50 to 40 in a free scoring contest. Rex Wall led the Irish with nineteen markers. The Rams were still in their slump when Roanoke came to Huntington and defeated the Irish 38 to 25. Etter led the Rams with eight points. Another loss was all the Rams could manage when they traveled to Monument City and were defeated 43 to 28. Rex Wall pulled his team with ten markers. Five in a row was made when the Rams journeyed to Lancaster and were defeated 24 to l9. Wall led the Irish with seven points. Luck changed and a win finally came when the Ramblers enter- tained the Jefferson team and coasted to a 37 to 30 win. Joe Etter led the Irish with twelve points. Another win, this time a decisive victory was managed by the Ramblers when they turned away Lafayette Central 41 to 31 at the Community Gym. Ltter paced the Hilltoppers with eleven points. The Rams were the underdogs but handed Manchester a 29 to 27 defeat at the losers goalary. Reust leo his team with eleven points A very decisive victory over bippus was scored when the Irish traveled to the bippus Gym. It was an Irish field-day with a 59 to 32 win. Wall led the Ramblers with 20 markers. Another one for the win column, Joe btter with twelve points led the Rams to a 32 to 22 win at the Andrews Gymnasium. The Rams won the Four Way Tourney by defeating Rock Creek 34 to 22 in the opener and in the finals by defeating Township 31 to 29. Reust led against Rock Creek with nine and Wall against Township with ten markers. Rex wall led the Irish with fourteen markers. Huntington Township defeated the Rams 26 to 19 at a game played at the victor's gym. Etter led his teammates with eight points. The Rams traveled to Leo of with a 45 to 57 defeat. Wall led St. Paul came to Huntington both teams, the Rams won 28 to 26 the Irish with eight points. Ft. ' ,gz The Irish lost their first game of the I.H.S.A.A. Sectional by the score ox 55 to 29, to Lancaster in a thrilling overtime game. The Rams' total points were 629 and the opposing teams were 620. hhile the team took many setbacks, it also displayed splendid . eww playing, fine Sportsmanship and excellent teamwork.
