pending Our Zfirrzc Yeah, it's Friday, the best night of the week. T.G.LF ! You could prob- ably hear that or something like that on every school campus at the end of each weekg Huntington included. Friday mornings were usually spent deciding what to do that night. Everyone wanted to make plans with their friends for Friday night. H,B.H.S. has always had so many different studentsg each has had their various activities they've en- joyed doing after school was out. The movies were a popular place to go on Friday nights I they still are For some the movies were their hangout. Maybe ahter the movie everyone would head over to a local party. K There was always someone having one. Q Some- times Friday meant a special date with that 'special someone ! Old World was a gathering place for those who liked to dance. There were also crowds at Studio K and Circle City getting in step. Cruis- ing down P.C.H with a group ofHiends was something most of us enjoyed do- ing on Friday nights. The weekends were well worth wait- ing for. When Monday arrived no one minded, too much, because that ga ve us Hve days to plan our attack on the next Friday night! xpr

One place Gilers visited this summer was ofcourse the games ofthe 23rd Olympiad, which were held in Los Angeles. Others went to Palm Springs, Hawaii or a student tour of Europe. Traveling and seeing the World are two very good ways to expand our knowledge. When we are young, our ability to learn is agile. This is the best time to investigate the future, and understand the past.
