Twenty-eight years ago a song was written. A song that expresses the spirit of our school and its student bodyg a song that touches the hearts of alumni and students alikeg a song that will always bring back memories of high school days. That song was our own HHail to Hunt- ingtonf' Written by Mrs. Ruth M. As seniors they posed for their individual pictures and had their own panoramic picture of the whole class. They ordered announcements for that big moment, graduation. As the year went on, frenzied seniors found that activities came thicker and faster. After being royally honored at the Junior-Senior Prom, Senior Ditch Day with all its fun arrived. Finally at the yearls end came the senior breakfast, the baccalaureate service, and-graduation. Now that the class of '55 are alumni, they will always remember H.B. Gary Wymore, Vice President Bob Wardlow, Treasurer Bewildered and excited with the first days of the school year, freshmen were initiated into high school life with the activities of Hello Day, the Freshman-Sophomore Brawl, Color Day, and the Beachcombers' Bounce. They soon found new friends and new things to do and kept active all year long attending the weekly Freshman Dances in the gym. These freshmen were enthusiastic salesmen, too, as they sold concessions, programs and track medals at different times throughout the year. At the annual party in October they danced and had entertain- ment and refreshments.
