The ser- vants of Huntingdon present the program and receive gifts. white Christmas The York Nativity Play was presented as The 1957 White Christmas program. This medieval drama was directed by Katie Spencer. With class spirit high and competition keen, each class presented a skit with c: sense of direction. The theme for the night was North, South, East and West. The Freshman Class, with a satire on the campus East- O-Egg, walked away with the first prize. Traditional cowboy garb with the added interest of ghosts found the Sophomore Class in the middle of the desert carrying out their theme, Mow and Po Dallas Go West. The Junior Class won hon- orable mention with its skit entitled The Search for the Sinister Silver Stick, known on the campus as the oracle hunt. Merry King Arthur and his knights of the round table enthroled students and fac- ulty and kept them wondering what would come next as the Seniors carried C ut their northern theme, Four Knights in Northumbria. The Oracle Committee prepared the code which led the Juniors on the long hard search for the silver tube which finally made them Seniors.
