George O. Shingler ECRETARIE Uni' school secretaries this past year were Mrs, jean XVei r. Miss Ruth Rhodes, and Mrs. Marlene Kidd. all former graduates of lluntingdon Iligh School. These young ladies were re- sponsible for the smooth running of the school oflices. Mrs. MR-ir was capablv assisted with her work in Mr. Cettyis ollice by Miss Rhodes. and Mrs. Kidd helped our principal. Mr. Shingler. with his varied daily duties. The school secretaries took care of the correspoiidence. the paper work. and other business matters of the high school, Thex' were always ready' to greet visitors cordially. and to lend their assistance. Thev deserve our thanks for the part they plaved in helping to make Hunt- ingdon Area High School a well-organ- ized unit. highly commended for its eflziciencv. However. no matter how busy he was. he always found time to listen to any troubled student who asked his advice.
