Llberty - - - - and our Administration To the Administration of Huntingdon High School liberty means the freedom to teach the principles of good will and amity, to teach each student to seek for himself the truth, unrestricted by false or mis- leading dogmas, religion, or private and special interests. Most important, it confers the right to present to the pupils under their supervision, the unpreiudiced, unbiased views of world govern- ment and current events, without fear of detention or punishment. However, to the absent members of the faculty, those in the armed services, liberty is a torch that they are guarding, so that it may burn far into the future to light the way for democratic education.
