STUDENT CGUNCIL To make H. H. S. the best outfit rollin' along the activity trail, we have the Student Council. Organized only a year ago, it has found the uncharted route sometimes diffi- cult. However, under Captain lohn lNallis, assisted by officers lack Lukemeyer and Pat Freson, and with Mr. Loehr as commander-in-chief, several successful diggings have been reported. With the help of Mr. Wicker, a faculty advisor, outside talent was contracted for the convos. The students thoroughly enjoyed the Deep River Boys, the Vagabond Trio, and the Wade Quartette. Next year's acts, which have already been booked, promise to be even more entertaining. , Not entirely relinquishing their booster club activities, the council co-spon- sored the football queen crowning and worked with the Hi-Y and Y-Teens on a sportsmanship campaign. Major venture of the year was the publication of an Educational Guidance Manual. This handbook, drawn up by Mr. Wicker and revised by the faculty and student representatives, well maps out the way for students entering Hunt- ingburg High School.
