ENGLISH - THE BASIS OF EDUCATION Our English Department was busy this year with ternn papers, themes, and plays. Mr. Bruskotter directed the Senior English class in the writing of their terna papers which were on the philosophy of life of an author. The Sophomore classes, under his direction, were also given tasks. The Speech and Drama class gave speeches, performed plays and wrote original plays. The Juniors had their first experience in writing term papers and Mr. Helm chose the Supreme Court for their theme. Miss Ratliff kept the Sophomores and Freshmien busy with themes and tests. Rhonda Vinson, Jean Malcolm, Mark Helge, and Diane Potter look happy and relieved as they turn in term papers to Mr. Helm. Here Suzie Ringlet, and Suzi Cain do a scene from Romeo and Juliet.
