1 Mrs. Learned presented Carol Bear with the choir award for outstanding work over the past four years. Sidney Merriman received the Arion award for display- ing outstanding ability and musicianship. All -Sports Trophies were awarded to Steve Freck and Mike Fitch for activity in all sports. Awards Day Brings Tears Of Joy And Sadness The Crisco Award which is presented to the most outstanding home economics student was given this year to Janet Hoover. Mr. Sloffer presented Shirley Yoder with the John Phillips ' Sousa award. This also is for outstanding ability and musicianship. The queens of Huntertown High School organizations add glamour to the dull everyday activities. Their reward comes after many hard hours of work. When they win they can be assured they deserve the honor. Our queens include the Hunter- town Fair Queen, the Band skating party queen, the FFA Chapter Sweet- heart, and the Citadel Queen. Congratulations to the girls who received the honors this past year!!!!! It lakes a lot of effort on the part of fair queen candidates to win. This year Sandra Rosenberry was honored. Linda Gump liad to sell lots and lots of skating party tickets to win this honor of band queen. She did a fine job. 1963-64 Royalty Is Featured Linda Malt was announced tlie FFA Chapter Sweetlieart after speiiding many extra liours workiiii; for the cause. Dave Wilkinson Phone Susie Clark smiles proudly as she should after being crowned the Citadel Queen. Her votes earned a lot of aid to the cost of putting out the yearbook.
