Every¬ thing will be a new experience. We will then be con¬ tinuing or striving to reach our goals that we made in high school. We will always have memories of our school days and the days ahead will be a chal¬ lenge. As 5de Pag es 3urn... fide IJear Qoes By EDITOR.Dianna Gross ASSOCIATE EDITOR.Jean Freeman BUSINESS MANAGER.Phyllis Goodyear ADVISOR.Mrs. Gorsuch 3 We dedicate this volume of the Citadel to the young men and women who are leaving the halls of their school as stu¬ dents for the last time. We wish them the best of luck in their iuture. May they strive to accomplish new and better things as they grow into adulthood, from this day forward. But even more eager to finish it! 4 We Will Rem 30 Minutes In A Street ember Our Scbool Pi This year, under the direction of Miss Studebaker, we were introduced toatheater-in-the-round, which was something new and interesting. This staging made it easier to hear the ac¬ tors in the three one-act plays be¬ cause the stage was completely sur¬ rounded by the audience. We would like to commend Miss Studebaker for her efforts and all the people who helped make the plays a success. Miss Studebaker, Our Director 6 Seniors Cook Back On Cast year’s $unioi Play. Huntertown School Bus Drivers Our School Cooks In this past year at Huntertown High School quite a few Seniors have suddenly realized that they must really start decid¬ ing what comes next . After this year we will no longer be coming back to the pro¬ tective walls of our alma mater. Some of us realized too late we should have tried harder. Some of us will go on to college, others will go directly into a job. Our school also has realized a need, and it has opened the door wider for students to obtain scholarships. We have also matured in our thinking, because we know we must so that our parents and our school will be proud of us. Our Senior class has had many activi¬ ties this year. Among these was a Senior Dinner held at the Golden Dragon which was, in a way, our final all-Senior get to¬ gether. The Junior-Senior Prom was quite an event to remember. A yearbook was purchased for each member of the gradu¬ ating class as a symbol of our last year to¬ gether. It will also help us remember one another and some of our good times, not only this year but in years gone by. Managers of this year’s basketball team are: David Freck, Dean Gongaware, Robert Konger,Mike Freck, Jack Freeland. The Co-Captains, Ross Gross and Gay Martin, did a good job of leading the Cats through victories. 56 Come on Ned, those two points are needed! The Most Valuable Basketball Player Award was enlarged this year so that two of our Wildcats could be honored. Gay Martin, one of the leading scorers, often added two valuable points at a crucial moment with his outside jump shot. Avery hard-working player, Ned Miller, just never quit.
